As the SiriusXM Stars’ Channel Happiness Guru and a nationally known motivational speaker, she has taught thousands of people real-life strategies to break free of draining, dead-end jobs and finally live their joy. She regularly inspires leaders and employees of corporations such as BMW, Morgan Stanley, AVON, and Progressive Insurance. Carin is also the Motivation Expert for YouBeauty.com, has appeared on NBC, CBS, PBS, NPR, Crain’s Business, she hosts her own show, “Happy Hour,” on the Lifestyle Talk Radio Network, and is the host of the upcoming show, “Break Free” on the Whatever It Takes Network.
Carin is one of only 300 people in the world to earn a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology, the science of happiness and human flourishing, from the University of Pennsylvania, where she has also served as adjunct faculty. Currently, she is on faculty at The Flourishing Center and will be teaching the Certificate in Applied Positive Psychology program in San Francisco, beginning March 2015. Most recently, she became an international best-selling author for her contribution in Pebbles in the Pond: Wave Three.
Carin is a marathon runner, gourmet cook and painter and lives in Philadelphia with her husband Joshua, her bonus-son, and their mutt, Henry.
