B3 10 Energy Management Order Form

The purpose of this course is to empower participants with the skills to identify and manage their energy. Participants are taught to recognize that their body is a battery. They are invited to monitor how their energy vacillates throughout the day. The concept of willpower is introduced to help people understand some of the basic “fuels” for their mental and physical energy. Participants learn that energy is a finite resource that they can regulate. The concept of depletion and repletion is introduced along with strategies to limit their depletion, and increase repletion. Participants are taught strategies for keeping their energy level high and learn to view willpower as a muscle that they can build. Sleep is introduced as a foundation for feeling vital. Participants explore the idea of flow and how they can craft more experiences where they feel “in the zone” which generates energy. Lastly, participants identify how they use their downtime. Research based strategies are introduced for maximizing the use of their downtime. Participants leave with an understanding of their energy as a malleable resource that they can use to increase their resilience.
