Event Details

You are invited to a free interactive online event to celebrate the 12th Anniversary of The Flourishing Center, a NYC based Benefit Corporation focused on Training the Change Agents of the World® in the science of well-being.

The Flourishing Center was “officially” born on April 2, 2008. Normally, we’d throw an annual party at our Flourishing Center in NYC to celebrate, but given the pandemic, we’re celebrating our customers, students, faculty, team members and the community at large online.

We’d love to have you party with us! What happens at a Positive Psychology based Party? We call it an “edu-tain-ial” experience. You learn (education) in a way that’s super fun (entertaining) and you connect with incredible people (social). It’s an invigorating way to learn, and for many of us, a much needed up lift to a long week. Scratch that… to many many long weeks.

We’re asking that you bring a treat and a candle to this Online Zoom event, because at some point, we will all light and sing “happy birthday” to The Flourishing Center and blow out the candles together. You’re welcome to bake a whole birthday cake if you’d like… Just don’t say I made you eat it… ;-).

Oh, and did I mention I’m calling it a Bat Mitzvah for The Flourishing Center? It’s 12 years old… it’s a right of passage. (Don’t worry, I’ll throw it a Sweet 16 one day too :-). And every good Bat Mitzvah needs a theme, so this evening is going to be a Jeopardy Game!

Learn positive psychology (or test your positive psychology knowledge)… Connect with other amazing change agents… and distract yourself from the craziness of the world… even if just for 90 minutes ;-).
