Final Project Friday - June

We’re excited to welcome Brent Evans to Final Project Friday! As a Senior Outdoor Teacher with an outdoor experiential school in Canada, he organized an event to help teachers get out the door and into nature with their students. He also trained them on the science behind it! Join us and hear about his experience.

Bio – Brent Evans (CAPP.73, Toronto) is a Senior Teacher at the Norval Outdoor School, Upper Canada College. He has been teaching outdoor education and experiential education for the past 18 years. In 2008 he received the prestigious Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Teaching, and in 2019 he received the Council of Outdoor Educators award for leadership in education.  He is a proud CAPP.73 grad, and the only thing he enjoys more than teaching is spending time with his wife Denise and his two children Cora and Tim exploring the great outdoors.
