About Lisa (CAPP.106)
Super Power
- My two super powers come from my top VIA character strengths: gratitude and hope.
The PP researcher I’d love have coffee with is
- If Dr. Shane Lopez were still with us, I’d love to discuss hope theory and how we can best foster hope in girls and young women.
In 5 years, my positive psychology journey looks like
- In 5 years, my positive psychology business is flourishing. As a 5i Inventor, I help people to show up in the world thee way they want to through experiential learning opportunities. I share positive psychology principles and tools tailored to target audiences in my community through courses and workbooks. In addition to my Achievement Course, I offer a course tailored to early retirees on PERMA-V with a strong focus on Engagement, Relationships, and Meaning (crafting purpose). I’m part of a supportive positive psychology community where I continue to learn, grow, and thrive.
What inspired my final project
- My CAPP final project is a 6-part series on achievement tailored for women aspiring to achieve financial freedom. The project originated when I was invited by a group coaching program leader to deliver a series of webinars to her clients on positive psychology. Inspired by my own journey, I focused each webinar on a key concept that has helped me work toward my goal of developing a flourishing business sharing positive psychology with others. It’s my hope that these concepts will be as helpful to others as they have been to me.
