Event Details

Join our free panel discussion with positive psychology experts on one of our nations greatest challenges today… Addiction!

What role does the science of wellbeing play in something as debilitating as the disease of addiction? How do professionals that are working with individuals that are healing from addiction use positive psychology not just pull them out of darkness but use meaning, purpose, grit and gratitude to rebuild their lives. Learn how the skills of resilience are used to help the families, friends and supporters of people recovering from addiction. And learn the limitations of positive psychology and where traditional psychology and medical interventions are necessary.

Learn from these practitioners that hold a Certificate in Applied Positive Psychology from The Flourishing Center and have been integrating positive psychology into how they help people. Participate in the discussion by asking questions to our panelists.
