What inspired my final project

For my CAPP Final Project, I used the positive psychology knowledge I gained to create the outline and action plan for my second book—one that, at the time, I hoped to write and publish within the next 2–5 years. I graduated from CAPP in 2019, and now, just over five years later, that book is becoming a reality! Meaningful Work: How to Ignite Passion and Performance in Every Employee will be published in April 2025.

My final project was inspired by a virtuous cycle I was observing in my productivity consulting work: productivity creates space for meaningful work, and meaning, in turn, fuels greater productivity. Along the way, people become happier, and organizations thrive. I wanted to dive into the science behind this cycle and explore the pivotal role leaders play in fostering it. That project became the foundation for my book, and it’s exciting to see it come full circle.
