What I do:I tutor (1 on 1) in math and writing, for K - 12 students, including test prep. I also teach yoga and qi gong, and I coach adults in resilience, goal achievement, and daily practices to enhance well being.

My StoryDave Wolovsky is a math, writing, and yoga teacher, curriculum designer, and positive psychology based life coach. Has has an M.S. degree in Neuroscience and Education from Teachers College, Columbia. His main work experience has consisted of tutoring math and writing (K-12 and test prep), coaching for resilience, teaching mind-body practices like yoga and meditation, and designing curricula. In teaching and coaching, one of his biggest assets is an extensive knowledge of cognitive and educational science on which to draw when guiding clients and students in building their inner trust and inner fire. He also teaches yoga, focusing on expanding space in the torso for a smoother breath, and getting full range of motion in the hips and shoulders while strengthening them as well.
