Our mission is to uplift the human condition by empowering people with the skills and tools to achieve happiness and wellbeing. Our vision is that every city across the world offers training and programs that teach people science based tools for self-awareness, self-compassion and self-care. That people gather locally, to learn and grow, and they support one another as agents of positive change.
We do so by empowering people with tools that they can quickly and easily implement in helping people be happier, healthier, more resilient, connected and inspired. Together we unite to make the world a better place.
Founded in 2008, by Emiliya Zhivotovskaya, The Flourishing Center was one the first 25 companies in the state to become a Benefit Corporation (bCorp), dedicated to its commitment to being a for-profit organization with the primary purpose of making the world a better place. Our acclaimed Certificate in Applied Positive Psychology (CAPP) program is offered online internationally, with over 1,500 students and graduates across 53 countries.
