Element #1: Vitality
There are 3 core elements to this retreat. The first is physical vitality. Nestled amidst the serene, rolling hills of Rhinebeck, New York, the Omega Institute is an oasis. This breathtaking setting is marked by enchanting forests, vibrant meadows, and peaceful water bodies, providing an ideal sanctuary for spiritual growth and a refreshing escape from the pressures of modern life.
The nourishing farm-to-table cuisine is a delightful blend of locally sourced ingredients that stimulates your palate while fortifying your health. Our team runs private daily yoga, meditation, movement, and nature journeys to nourish your wellbeing. Add on services from Omega's Spa and Wellness Center where a selection of rejuvenating treatments, from soothing massages to innovative wellness therapies, await to replenish your body and spirit.
Element #2: Positive Psychology
Participate in positive psychology workshops and hands-on-learning experiences. Every day there is a different PERMA theme. Refresh concepts you know. Live classes on new research and updates you might have missed. Best of all, see positive psychology principles be brought to life through crafts, activities, ice breakers, games, team building, and learning adventures.
Experience Emiliya's decade long career in party entertainment and events curation for a play infused approach to applied positive psychology.
Element #3: OpenSpace Technology
Experience the transformative power of co-creation at our retreat, uniquely designed around the inspiring principles of Open Space Technology (OST). OST ignites a dynamic environment where you, as a participant, actively shape your journey and outcomes. This unique approach fosters high-energy, participant-driven engagement, and leads to unexpected depths of discovery and connection.
As a community of talented Positive Psychology practitioners (CAPPsters), we each bring unique gifts to share, learn, and grow together. Showcase your skills to whichever extent you want to. Want to offer a workshop? Lead a conversation? Teach the group a skill? There's something for everyone with OST.
BONUS: Experiencing OST is one of the best ways to learn to facilitate it! So if you're a trainer, you'll learn to add this to your arsenal of tools.
Join us for an experience that will leave you with profound insights, meaningful connections, and a renewed sense of ownership and commitment to your chosen path at the CAPP ReNU Retreat.

“I wanted to write an express how over the moon I was after the last ReNU retreat. It was a busy time for me and I was en route back from travelling. It was rejuvenating and energizing to spend a few days in flow with fellow CAPPsters. It was fun to meet CAPPsters in-person for the first time, and we had the perfect combination of connection, active pp practice and time for rest. I made some of my closest CAPP friendships at the retreat, and it was just the renewal I needed.”
- Emily

In meditation, cloaked into the stunning world of nature; the breath of delicious air, the shining sun, the tall green trees, the many different paths of hiking in the woods, brooks with frogs, entertaining waterfalls, gushing and the calming sounds of water, the birds talking to each other, the deers playing. I saw bears roaming around. AND THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING... I am full of gratitude to spirit, that I had this amazing opportuniy.
- Goldie
