What to Expect
To maximize the learning experience, you will watch consulting learning videos to prepare yourself for hands on live learning classes.
Each weekend intensive includes training in consulting skills, positive psychology theory, measurement tool use, practicum discussion and mentoring, guest speakers, basic training in the key services that consultants perform.
Work with the support of instructors and peers to take the learning and apply it in practical, tangible ways to shape your customer's goals and visions into ready-to-use proposals and plans.
As part of the course learning journey, you will identify an organization that needs your work as a consultant. You will actively work with the organization through the course to apply your growing knowledge and expertise in real-time to solve an organizational challenge. The whole class will follow the progress of each other's practicum organization to begin to gain experience with a variety of different organizations and needs.
Bi-weekly meetings with your pods will give you the mastermind support for working with your practicum organization. Report back to the whole group and receive mentoring on how to navigate challenges and wins as they come up.

Patricia Omoqui is a Princeton graduate and former professional basketball player (Brazil, England and Sweden). She is a Sr. Executive Coach (PCC, ICF) and Leadership Development consultant with 20 years of experience working with leaders up to the C-suite. Her corporate career as a management consulting professional in Fortune 500 companies equipped her with deep expertise in client delivery. She is a Certified Chief Happiness Officer (WOHASU), Certified in Applied Positive Psychology, a Certified Resilience trainer in the Bounce Back Better program and Certified as a Trauma-Informed Coach.
Pamela Slim is an award-winner author, speaker and business coach who works with small business owners ready to scale their businesses and IP. She is the author of Escape from Cubicle Nation (Penguin Portfolio, 2009) and Body of Work (Penguin Portfolio, 2014) and the upcoming The Widest Net (McGraw Hill, October 2021). Pam and her husband Darryl co-founded the K’é Main Street Learning Lab in Mesa, Arizona, where they host scores of diverse community leaders and regular small business programming.
Maria Elshamy is a Partner at IBM in the IBM M&E Global Business Services practice. She is responsible for leading advisory initiatives in Media and Entertainment accounts with key focus on the cable industry, innovation, robotics and AI. Maria’s management consulting assignments include digital transformation, business process engineering, and emerging technology strategies.
