Graduating with first-class honours from the University of Melbourne’s Master of Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) program, Katie also holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education, is a registered teacher, and leads Toowoomba Positive Psychology, serving local clients and a global online community.With more than a decade of classroom experience plus expertise in learning enhancement, leadership and teacher training, Katie translates research on character strengths, resilience, and flourishing into actionable strategies for schools, organizations, and families. Colleagues praise her for transforming abstract theory into engaging activities that boost both academic performance and social-emotional growth.Katie lives what she teaches—championing wellbeing for individuals, groups, and whole systems. The Flourishing Center is delighted to have her facilitating CAPP cohorts and inspiring our community to weave positive psychology into every corner of life and learning.
