Caitlin Rybicki is an awesome human being.
While she may exude a quiet presence, don’t be fooled! This woman is a powerful force in the world and in many ways – business, creativity, energy, love. She has it all.
Within the past year, Caitlin was looking for learning what would enhance her spiritual and creative energies. When Caitlin met MAPP grads Louis Alloro and Pax Tandon, she immediately wanted to be friends with them: “their positive attitude, zest, and lightness are magnetic.” Once she heard they were both part of the CAPP program, she felt called to participate, too.
With a Bachelors degree in Biology and formal professional experience as a chemist, Caitlin has always been interested in science. Having similar rigor behind the CAPP program was important to her. Little did she know that the CAPP experience would not only provide her with meaningful learning, but meaningful relationships as well.
From day one, Caitlin says she felt part of a beautiful tribe and throughout the course, fell in love with our class. “It’s like chemistry,” she says, “with only positive side effects!”
“Since CAPP, I definitely have more trust in people,” Caitlin says. She frequently recites the positive psychology mantra “other people matter” and how it has become part of who she is. For her, like many CAPPsters, there is such power in putting language to many concepts she intuitively knew to be true.
For her final project, Caitlin created a line of essential oils called Etheric Body that combined chakra energy work with scientifically-informed character strengths and virtues. Etheric Body essential oil therapy uses the sense of smell to open up the chakras and allow your etheric body and physical body to transcend into a heightened level of vitality and awareness of self. Each chakra has a unique blend of essential oils; like basil, peppermint, and eucalyptus for the Throat chakra.
Her vision with this line of oils is similar to her life purpose, also clarified in the course: to help people heal. She now is putting effort towards volunteering locally and building out her private practice where she combines reiki, energy healing, with positive psychology, to create a mind-body experience for clients.
Caitlin been instrumental in helping build our CAPP scholarship fund so that other people can experience the learning that for her, she says, “came at just the right time” –as it always does.
Caitlin, you add so much vibrancy to our community and we are so grateful that our molecules collided. Keep at it, sister, in putting forward your heart in helping our world heal.
