THE FLOURISHING CENTER IS LOOKING FOR FALL INTERNS
NEW YORK, NY – The Flourishing Center (TFC) seeks a fall intern to join our bCorp (benefit corporation) working as social entrepreneurs developing and implementing learning opportunities for change-agents in the world.
TFC is a community of change agents; passionate about science, research and human potential. We use this information first and foremost in our own lives, and through that, we help others create a life of greater resilience, well-being and flourishing. Our primary offering is the Certificate in Applied Positive Psychology (CAPP) a six-month personal and professional learning program now offered in 7 cities around US and Canada. www.certificateinpositivepsychology.com
Our exchange of energy with the chosen intern will be the opportunity to earn your Certificate in Applied Positive Psychology (CAPP) in a NYC cohort beginning September 12 and running through March. Other benefits:

- Mentorship on change-agency and entrepreneurialism directly from senior management team
- Positioning for potential employment at a partner organization, or TFC following graduation
An intern will be expected to wear multiple hats and be involved with multiple parts of the organization, including business development, education initiatives, operations, and communications. Specific actionable projects include, but are not limited to, researching and collecting data, managing customer operations, spearheading messaging on social media platforms, and drafting written communications for internal and external use.
Because TFC is an evolving start-up, this internship is dynamic and offers successful applicants the opportunity to engage in a variety of ways. Interns will have the opportunity to experience many professional functions including assisting, corporate communications, event planning, research, media relations, and public relations.
